PowerStic and Exodus products save Kilowatt-hrs of energy (money) and extend battery life when data servers are active, CurrentRF thus providing products and a service to power conscious customers that compliments their existing power saving strategies. While all other power reduction products save power by turning unused portions of data servers and networks “off” when they go inactive, we operate and save power (money) and extend battery life when the servers and networks “wake up” and are active.

The PowerStic and Exodus devices allow users to save kilowatt hours of energy when plugged into any empty USB port in any computer, network device, or server, enabling each network device to run at an overall lower system power profile and at lower monthly electrical costs, generating exponential savings over time.

Amazingly, although we harvest energy from server and network unused USB ports, the mechanism by which PowerStic and Exodus power harvesting and recycling occurs has nothing to do with USB port operation, but is simply a byproduct of the action of the PowerStic and Exodus circuits, combined with the high frequency coupling that occurs throughout any data processing system(See our PowerStic and Exodus System Theory doc). The USB port connection is simply a convenient, accessible port that allows the PowerStic and Exodus to function as a data server and network power reduction device.
